Region: Marlborough
Winemaker: Marcus Wright/Rebecca Wiffen
Alcohol: 14.00% pH: 3.25 RS: 2g/L
TA: 7.2g/L
Our 2013 Chardonnay was produced from the low cropping and intensely flavoured Mendoza clone grapes on our Chaytors Road vineyard. This wine was cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to produce a wine with concentrated citrus and stonefruit characters, that are matched by crisp acidity and wonderful minerality. Gentle lees stirring and partial malolactic fermentation have added depth and roundness to the palate.
