Lawson's Dry Hills Marlborough Late Harvest Gewürztraminer 2007

Region: Marlborough
Winemaker: Marcus Wright / Dean Boyce.
Alcohol: 11.5%  pH: 3.75  RS: 84g/L
TA: 4.0g/L  Brix: 28.3

The Gewürztraminer grapes from the Woodward vineyard were hand picked and sorted to select only berries with raisining and botrytis. The wine exudes characters of musk, cardamom and rose petal. The palate is round and textured with great intensity and a luscious finish.

This wine will mature gracefully over the next five to six years.

FOUR STARS - Relatively low on sweetness, this wine's richness is derived from its strong, oily Gewürztraminer characters, vibrant acidity and overall intensity. A product of an excellent vintage, it is settled and harmonious.
