The Wiffen vineyard in the Southern Valleys area of Marlborough produced some beautifully flavoured and balanced Mendoza Chardonnay grapes for our Reserve Chardonnay 2012. The nose shows enticing characters of nougat, white peach, nectarine and toasty vanilla. On the palate these characters are matched with fine acidity and a lovely minerality, giving the wine great balance and length of flavour.
