Sourced from our Waihopai Valley vineyard, where warm days and cool nights produce bright citrus and stonefruit characters, whilst retaining crisp acidity. Our 2009 Riesling is off dry with steely acidity, great concentration and exceptional length.
As this wine ages, it will develop complex toasty characters and will evolve nicely over the next th
Crayfish and other white fish.

Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
This has a very elegant and refined bouquet showing lovely honey and toasty secondary development with layers of lime fruit and floral aromas unfolding in the glass. Off-dry, beautifully interwoven flavours of honey, citrus fruit and complex toast and honey notes. The mouthfeel is smooth and seamless, the textures very soft, almost luscious with good acidity in support. The finish is long and gentle with subtle, toasty nuances. This Riesling is beginning to show complexity and interest and is developing with great finesse.

THREE AND A HALF STARS - A classic Marlborough Riesling, ripe, fragrant and zesty with hints of lime, lemon, mandarin and mineral. Full in the mouth, off-dry with a hint of underlying savouriness
WINE OF THE WEEK - FOUR STARS - Riesling needs time to unfold its full personality. With its scented, toasty bouquet, strong citrusy flavours and bottle-aged complexity, this crisp, dryish wine is bargain-priced.
THREE AND A HALF STARS - Good dry style of Riesling, with decent amount of citrus fruit weight, allied to bold acidity. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

A quality Riesling from consistent top performer Lawson's Dry Hills. Made in an off-dry style with a smooth mouth feel that is all lime and stone fruits, with a touch of honeyed sweetness that lasts on the palate long after it has glided past the tonsils, if you can hold off for a year or two, this wine will certainly reward
