This 2016 vintage displays the wonderful varietal characters of rose petals, lychee with delightful spice notes together with an off dry palate. As always our hallmark is depth of flavour, balance and great concentration.

One of the country's most impressive Gewürztraminers. Grown on the Home block and near Woodward vineyards. Mostly fermented in stainless steel tanks; a key part of the blend (about 15%) is given 'the full treatment', with a high-solids, indigenous yeast ferment in seasoned French oak barriques, malolactic fermentation and lee-stirring. The 2016 vintage is benchmark stuff, bright, light lemon/green. It is weighty and well rounded, with generous, youthful peach, pear, lychee, spice flavours and a rich, slightly sweet (7.5grams/litre of residual sugar) very harmonious finish. It's already delicious.
