To commemorate our 25th year we have created this special wine from the 2017 vintage. Named after the Maori verb meaning 'to mix', RANU is a careful co-fermentation of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer.
This wine fulfils our desire to be innovative whilst embracing the aromatic grape varieties that we are famous for.

This wine will continue to evolve over time in the bottle, enjoy now or cellar for up to five years.

Canvas - NZ Herald - December 2017

Named after the Maori verb meaning "to mix" - a single bin each of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer was hand-harvested on April 11th from different blocks, blended and fermented wild, to creat a wine that commemorates Lawson's Dry Hills 25th anniversary. It's a glorious, gussy-up of citrus, peach and musky magic. Juicy and succulent, it's the apple, nashi and lemon verbena notes that lift it to the next level of loveliness. Sip with: gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce.
