Group Marketing Manager

Belinda began following her life-long passion for wine in Bordeaux in the mid-eighties, before returning to the United Kingdom and undertaking sales and marketing roles. Before coming to New Zealand in 1995 she was the Wine Category Manager for one of the big brewers, where she was responsible for sourcing and marketing some 750,000 cases of wine from all over the world to over 15,000 on-premise outlets.

Once in New Zealand Belinda worked sourcing wine, managing brands and developing marketing strategies within liquor retail. Belinda then set up as an independent consultant, working across many aspects of the New Zealand wine industry, including establishing  two of New Zealand's leading wine competitions. She has three books published and has been a regular wine commentator on Radio New Zealand.

When not immersed in all things wine, Belinda is on the board of New Zealand Riding for the Disabled and is a Trustee of the Mistletoe Charitable Foundation. She also loves to cook, potter in the garden and hang out with her teenage twin boys.
