Produced from the Lawson's Dry Hills home block vineyard around the winery, where Ross and Barbara established their first vineyard in the early 80s.
Since then the Gewürztraminer from this vineyard has legendary in New Zealand wine circles, made in a medium style this wine has a rich, round mouth feel with great depth and concentration whilst displaying wonderful aromatics
Vibrant and rich now, however it will reward cellaring for six to eight years.
Any middle eastern dish, crab meat salad, shrimp, soft cows milk cheeses with dried fruit.
