2012 was a fantastic vintage in Marlborough. The combination of this great year, a unique vineyard site (Barnsley) in the Waihopai Valley and careful attention to details, from the pruning right through to the bottling of this wine has allowed us to produced something very special. Rich and beautifully textured with a little sweetness, balanced by the acidity and fruit weight. This wine is a wonderful expression of Pinot Gris from our little corner of the world.
This wine will develop wonderfully over the next five to six years.
Spiced crab meat salad, rich cheeses or just by itself.
