Produced only in the very best years and in tiny quantities, Our Pioneer Pinot Gris is deliberately made in a rich round off-dry style.
The grapes were harvested late, whole bunch pressed and fermented in older French oak barriques to produce a wine with great complexity and with a wonderful texture.

Richer, creamier and sweet than the regular label with a hint of toffee, guava, poached pear, anise and spice. A delicately luscious wine in an appealing style. Serve well chilled as a great aperitif or with moderately spicy dishes.
